Asia's Space Race

Below is my comment on theTIME article of "Asia’s Space Race" Page 20 TIME, October 17, 2005

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) is simply in the wrong way. She should not follow Beijing’s kind of space program to take the priority of manned space flights.

Launching a manned space flight is the effective way for China to sir up Japan, enhance her national pride and develop it as military purposes as the third superpower following the U.S. and the Soviet Union. But the world carefully watches such behavior with little respect.

What’s at stake now for both China and Japan is the new and respected space mission for the 21st century with the clear political vision to save the endangered Earth, not to kill each other on earth.
